  • Passengers must report at the helipad 45 minutes prior to departure.
  • Carriage of dangerous goods as per DGCA regulations is strictly prohibited.
  • Appropriate warm clothing is recommended for mountain landings.

Cancellation Policy

1. Standard Cancellation Timeline

Cancellations must be submitted in writing to the FlyDheera support team. The following fee structure applies based on the timing of the request:

  • More than 30 Days before Departure: 25% of the total package cost is retained as a processing fee.

  • 15 to 30 Days before Departure: 50% of the total package cost is forfeited.

  • Less than 15 Days before Departure: 100% of the total package cost is forfeited; no refunds will be issued.

2. Weather & Technical Disruptions

Flights in the Himalayan region are highly dependent on weather conditions.

  • Operational Delays: If a flight is cancelled due to poor visibility, high winds, or technical reasons, FlyDheera will attempt to reschedule your trip for the next available window.

  • Refund Eligibility: If a flight is cancelled by the operator and cannot be rescheduled, a refund will be processed for the unutilized portion of the flight, minus any fixed ground costs (hotels, transport, and administrative fees).

3. Denial of Boarding (Non-Refundable)

Accuracy in passenger data is vital for flight safety.

  • Weight Discrepancy: As per aviation safety standards, if a passenger’s actual weight at the helipad exceeds the weight declared at the time of booking by a significant margin, FlyDheera reserves the right to deny boarding. In such cases, no refund or rescheduling will be offered.

  • No-Show Policy: Passengers failing to arrive at the designated assembly point or helipad at the scheduled check-in time will be treated as a “No-Show” with 100% forfeiture of the booking amount.

4. Force Majeure & Government Orders

FlyDheera is not liable for cancellations arising from circumstances beyond our control, including:

  • Sudden government restrictions or VVIP movements.

  • Natural disasters or landslides affecting ground access.

  • Temple closures or religious protocol changes. In these instances, we will provide all possible assistance to adjust your itinerary, but financial refunds remain subject to our third-party vendor (hotels/transport) policies.

5. Refund Processing Time

Once a refund is approved by the FlyDheera accounts department, the amount will be credited back to the original payment source within 7–10 working days. Please note that bank transaction fees or credit card surcharges are non-refundable.

1. Agreement of Services

By booking with FlyDheera, the passenger agrees to all operational and safety protocols. All flight services are subject to aircraft availability, prevailing weather conditions, and clearance from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and local hill authorities.

2. Accuracy of Passenger Information

It is the passenger’s responsibility to provide accurate names (as per ID proof), age, and weight. FlyDheera relies on this data for flight manifest preparation and fuel calculation. Any discrepancies found during check-in may lead to immediate cancellation of service without liability for a refund.

3. Flight Path and Manifest Authority

The Pilot-in-Command (PIC) has the final authority regarding the flight path, passenger seating arrangement, and luggage distribution. To maintain the helicopter’s center of gravity, passengers may be assigned specific seats regardless of group preference.

4. Third-Party Services

While FlyDheera coordinates ground transfers, hotel stays, and VIP darshans, these are provided by third-party vendors. FlyDheera acts as a facilitator and is not directly responsible for service deficiencies, delays, or changes in policy made by hotels or temple boards.

5. Health & Fitness Responsibility

Passengers acknowledge that the Chardham Yatra involves travel to high altitudes (up to 11,500 ft) which can be physically demanding. By booking, the passenger confirms they are medically fit for such travel. FlyDheera is not responsible for any health complications arising from altitude sickness or pre-existing conditions.

6. Liability Limitation

FlyDheera’s liability for any loss, injury, or damage to person or property is limited to the terms of the insurance policy held by the aircraft operator. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses due to flight delays, weather-related cancellations, or changes in the Yatra itinerary.

7. Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising from the services provided by FlyDheera shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
